Sangri Bespoke Indian Cuisine

The food here is amazing. I have eaten in and had take out and the quality of the food is always excellent. The staff are attentive and accommodating if you want a small change to something on the menu. The meat is always high quality and tender. I highly recommend a visit.

Although I am always trying out different restaurants. Sangri Indian is one that I return to because their food is comforting just like this restaurant in Stepney Green which closed down. I love their vegetable side dishes as well as their rice. The lemon rice I had is fluffy and appetizing which goes well with lots of dishes and the spinach mushroom side is amazing. Also tried the butterfly king prawn which was massive as they use a whole tiger prawn.

Found this restaurant the first time we were in Croydon visiting family. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It a smallish restaurant made to feel bigger by the large mirrors. The food was excellent, so much so that each time we stay overnight we make sure we stop by for a meal. We are both avid Indian foodies.

Best curry house in London. Value for money and food.

This is the best family-friendly restaurant in Croydon. The lamb biriyani, the chicken tikka masala and best of all, the lamb curry! What more could you ask for? Props to Mr Russel,Mr Sufian and the chefs. Would come back!

Let me start off by saying that the location is in the heart of Croydon, that’s right, high street! This was my second time going to this restaurant and I have to say that both times I was overwhelmed with the high level of hospitality and the overall quality of each dish that I ordered. I had the biryani the first time and it was very nice. The chicken jalfrezi was superb! I had mine with keema naan and it had the perfect level of spice as the restaurant owner kindly asked the chef to put in a hint of the naga chilli for my benefit. The staff are attentive and show a good sense of urgency for each one of their guests. Prices are fair as this is an upscale restaurant so no complains there. If you don’t believe my words maybe my pictures will help in regards to the high level of quality of the food I had. Now that I have mentioned the staff and the food, now let me move on to the superb decor that Sangri has! The lighting is modern and attractive with beautiful velvet curtains near the end of the restaurant given it as gothic red look as it moves with air flow. Will I be back? Yes! It is now my regular curry house! Looking at negative reviews confused me as I rarely see anyone complain here, but I guess some people you just cannot please. The owner himself will personally greet you and attend to each one of your needs. Thank you Sangri ! Keep up the good work!

Nice and clean restaurant on the BRIGHTON Road in South Croydon. Was busyish for a Friday evening (we went at 830pm) but they had enough space for 3 of us. Good prices and food service and food was lovely. Shame they don't do any alcohol free beers but other than that great evening out. Staff are friendly and prompt (but not too 'in your face').
